WHO WE ARE

In a world where so much wine is produced by large companies, which use industrial agricultural techniques, chemical fertilizers and pesticides, we are committed to producing wines that respect the territory, the environment and ancient artisanal winemaking techniques.

A SMALL CELLAR
PRIVATE ARTISAN

We are a small, privately owned artisan winery with a passion for three things: first, producing great wines, second, respecting the biodiversity of our little corner of Tuscany, and third, offering a warm welcome to all our guests.
Since Chianti became the first protected wine denomination in the industry by decree of the Medici family in 1716, it has become one of the most famous wines in the world. After going through a difficult period in the 1970s and 1980s when it was considered a cheap wine served in straw-lined flasks, the denomination has flourished under the strict supervision of the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico, and is now home to some of the world’s greatest wines and companies.

A LOVE STORY WITH
THE SANGIOVESE GRAPE VARIETY
Our love affair with the region, and in particular with the main grape of all Tuscan wines, the noble Sangiovese, drives us every day to strive for excellence in our quest to extract the full extraordinary potential of this grape in every bottle of Chianti Classico we produce.

Our wines are made without the addition of chemicals, including preservatives, colorants and sugar. Our grapes are grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides and synthetic chemical fertilizers.
We work with nature to increase the biodiversity of the vineyard, planting cover crops between the vines to attract insects that eat the insects that damage the fruit. We minimize the use of sulfites used as preservatives in wines. Wines made in a traditional way in harmony with nature. You will taste the difference!

NOT JUST A WORKING VINEYARD,
BUT A PLACE TO VISIT
The Tuscan tradition has always been to produce great wines to share with friends, accompanied by our simple and flavorful local foods. The acidity and light saltiness of our wines make them perfect to accompany the fresh ingredients of our Tuscan cuisine.
Whether you are visiting our estate for a tasting, staying in one of our self-catering villas, organising an event or booking the entire village for your exclusive wedding, we look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful estate.

ENVIRONMENT
NATURAL
We are fortunate to be able to produce our wines in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy, overlooking the rolling countryside all the way to Montalcino, Monte Amiata and beyond. More than 80% of our land remains wild and provides a habitat for the region’s diverse flora and fauna. Sustainability remains at the heart of our land management and farming methods.
