At the southern edge of the Chianti Classico region, you’ll find the organic Tenuta Cappellina. Here, perched on warm, south-facing slopes, we enjoy spectacular growing conditions and beautiful views of southern Tuscany. Our philosophy is to produce wines in an environment where biodiversity is fostered, where the natural rhythm of the seasons is embraced, and where the vineyards are in perfect balance with nature. Our small team has been with us for many years and the passion with which they do their work is something you’ll taste in every sip of our wines. We hope you enjoy them.

If you share our passion for wine, why not visit our 100-hectare estate and see for yourself how we make our wines? There are a variety of wine tasting experiences available where you can pair typical Tuscan grapes with our traditional foods and estate-grown olive oil.

IN PERFETTA ARMONIA

Our production philosophy is to have perfect balance in our vineyards, so the fruit we harvest is the only ingredient we have to use in our wines. Different clones of grapes, mainly Sangiovese, grown in different types of soil and in different microclimatic conditions, give us the components with which we achieve balance in our wines. Our dedication to the harmony between fruit, tannin and acidity is what helps create our smooth, powerful and aromatic wines.

HOSPITALITY

Wine tasting with spectacular catering and entertainment for organized groups. Your wine tasting can be part of a stay in our luxury apartments or an activity for your guests for your wedding celebrated at Borgo Argiano, our agriturismo.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

As custodians of our beautiful corner of Tuscany, we are conscious of protecting the biodiversity of the land we occupy, 80% of which is forest. Sustainability is the cornerstone of any responsible agricultural commitment, and we are conscious of the need to maintain it with cover crops and the insect life that abounds among our vines. In this way we also provide a wild and natural ecosystem in our forests.
