CHIANTI CLASSICO
DOCG COLLECTION
The winery produces three Chianti Classico DOCG wines: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Reserva and Gran Selezione Canto Dieci
Tenuta Cappellina produces two styles of wine, all based on the terroir of our winery and the grape varieties we grow. The first style, Chianti Classico DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita), consists of 3 different wines. These differ in the selection of grapes and the aging process: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Reserva and Chianti Classico Grand Selezione. The second style is the IGT wines (Indicazione Geografica Tipica): Dianne, Casa del Capo and Rosato. In addition to Sangiovese grapes, international grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are also used here. All of our wines go through the entire winemaking process on site.
