Tenuta Cappellina Organic Extravirgin Olive Oil is made from our own olives, hand-picked and cold-pressed with state-of-the-art equipment.
Tuscan Olive oil is famous for its’ “pizzico”, the spiciness it gets from the tannins in the olives. Enjoy it with tasty salads or soups, or as they do in Tuscany, on grilled meat.
CAPPELLINA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Waiting too long between picking and pressing means the olives risk a fermentation process which undermines the purity and quality of the oil’s flavours. For this reason we never wait more than 24 before taking the olives to the local press, where, before we get it home, we immediately savour it on toasted bread rubbed with garlic.
